Sendero Nautral (Nature Trail)
Santa Rosa National Park

$110 USD/person Min. 2 persons

Distance:1km
Time:2 to 3 hrs
Elevation:Almost no elevation gain

This trail is a must for every visitor to the park. Despite its short length, it’s a perfect introduction to the dry tropical forest community.

On this hike you will come to a small decline leading down to a creek bed that is usually without water during the dry season. You will pass over a natural bridge formed by the action of water eroding the soft bed-rock. We will approach quietly as a large community of bats live under the bridge. Here we will also view pytroglyphs, designs chipped in stone by people who came in search of water hundreds or even thousands of years ago.

Included: Return transportation to your hotel, lunch, drinks, guide and park fee.
You bring: Day pack to carry your snack and water, rain gear, long pants, hiking boots, hat, mosquito repellent, sun screen, and warm clothing

$99 USD/person Min. 2 persons

Distance:8km return

The highlight of this hike is the special blue water that separates it from other rivers and water falls. The magnificent color of the river, along with the lush forest that surrounds it, makes for an experience out of this world and perhaps the most beautiful of it’s kind in Costa Rica.
Included: Return transportation to your hotel, lunch, drinks, guide and park fee.
